Two Dianas
Today we have two very different pieces by different Dianas but both involving collage. The first by Diana Woods-Humphery is both experimental and abstract. The balanced composition she has achieved in this piece makes for a pleasing image. I wonder if we have other members who are bold enough to venture into the abstract.
Diana Veasey wrote this description to accompany her photo. "My new house sign in situ above our vigorously growing lavender. The french lavender at the back of the front bed is just coming into bloom. Materials: acrylic on recycled plasticised bath panel (end part) support. Varnished with UV-protected, allegedly colour free external yacht varnish. Letters are painted and collaged on individually."
