View from Sellack

Sue Murphy writes, "After the latest Paint-in Live with Norfolk Painting School here is my attempt. We were invited to paint a view of our own, but in the style of Cezanne, who painted views of Mont St  Victoire in France.  This is the View from Sellack, style of Cezanne in oils, 12 x 16 in.  On this occasion I used Fabriano Oil Paper but having previously found it too slippy, this time I prepared it with a coat of pink gesso.  It made a very short ground to work on, but I’ll be interested to see what it’s like when I take it off the board that I had attached it to."
